Site Dynamics

The dynamics of this site are not accidental; rather, they have been carefully designed to address some of the points that have bothered me when I've looked at other sites.

First of all, there's a nice self-referential twist: often, when visiting a new site, I would like to know what its dynamics are, and they are usually not clearly stated. Voilà!

The remaining points are a bit more complicated, so I've broken them out into subessays.
