It's hard to summarize what the essays are about, because they go all over the place. When I'm actually talking to someone and telling them about the project, what I do instead of summarizing is give a specific example—typically the essay Bubbles and Barriers. I like that one because it's about driving, a familiar subject that is also nice and tangible.
