Decimal Expansions (Section)

It turns out I'm very interested in decimal expansions and repeat lengths. Here's a quick overview.

It all started with actual decimal expansions of actual fractions. I'll keep these essays filed under Powers and Fractions, but they ought to go here as well. Too bad the essay tree doesn't support Unix links!

Decimal Expansions is the original essay where I started to get into the theory.

Repeat Length Again is one of my favorite things. I especially like the pictures in Multiplication in Base 7. This essay is where the concept of exceptions is introduced.

The Nagell-Ljunggren Equation isn't directly related to decimal expansions, but it led to me putting together some new reference material about exceptions.
