JuneIn April my folks and I drove down to Texas. That got me thinking about driving, again, and reminded me of several easy essays I'd never quite gotten around to writing. That seemed like a sad state of affairs, so I decided I'd write them when I got back, and that's what I did.
Actually, Preserving Options wasn't one of the easy ones, it was just something I'd been meaning to write about that happened to fit with another set of essays I was working on.
Not much of a set, is it? Just kidding … there are many more essays that belong, I just haven't had time to finish them. They ought to be ready in a month or two.
Speaking of driving, there are two more things I should mention.
Second, I'm really starting to feel that I'm close to being done, that I've said almost everything I want to say about driving. All that's left is a handful of essays and some random thoughts that I'm not sure what to do with.
So, there you have it. I'm actually quite pleased with this batch … I don't think I've had such a large and varied one since May 2002, just over two years ago. To finish, here are two more essays that I particularly like. Everything else you can find in the details.
